Here's what's new on the site:

2.2L Roller Cam Swap

Here's proof that a junkyard roller cam from a 2.5L motor can revive a 2.2L Turbo after it's eaten a camshaft. The final espisode has been added to the Junkyard 2.5L Roller Cam Swap Story.

2.2 T1 Turbo Engine Mods

by Rob Walsh

Have a garden variety turbo 2.2? Then you need to read the article submitted by Rob Walsh. He's been tweaking these sideways muscle motors for a number of years and has come up with a combination that produces great results without having to go to an intercooler or fork over the cash for a Super 60 setup.

The Care and Feeding of Turbocharged Engines by Fred L.

Those little 2.2 Turbos that a lot of people shy away from can be a lot of fun. However, they have gotten a bad reputation for being unreliable and expensive to fix. Fred tells us not so...if you understand how you need to treat a turbo motor. His own 2.2 Turbo '86 LeBaron GTS has over 140,000 miles on the clock and the motor has never been touched, so if you have a turbo car or are thinking about getting a 4-banger terror with slot-car handling, click here.
